SHADOW WALL
The Shadows and silhouettes of the crowds passing through the space, generate, using a combinatoin of sensor and the light sensitive surface, the content on the wall. The Panels content is created by the movement of the public in front of the Lenticular.
It is inspired by the journeys in and out of the stadium, celebrated by audiences.
This project has really been a good opportunity to learn new techniques and software like Fusion 360 or Inventor.
The long process to experiment around the patterns and material, looking to find the perfect balance between esthetic of a nice design and the complex requirement of the electronic used in this project, to make both works in harmony, was a great challenge.
It was also really interesting to be able to work on the engineering solution to make the artwork as solid as possible to support the interaction of a very crowded area, with the wishes of the client to have a clear artwork facade (no visible fasteners).
I also took part in the content creation for the upper light boxes. Been involved in the creation of the visuals based on the community people from the Wembley area was a really nice experience.

Having to think about assembly and maintenance in a very specific area wasa key for this public space project.
